1. Who we are
Novasia is a program discovery platform that helps students find summer and enrichment programs. We are based in Hong Kong. For privacy inquiries, contact us at mikimak0821@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
- Email address — when you choose to save your results or shortlist. Providing your email is optional.
- Quiz responses — your age group, goals, budget, and availability, used to match you with programs.
- Usage data — pages visited, programs viewed, and interactions (collected via PostHog analytics). No personally identifiable information is attached to usage events unless you submit your email.
- Session identifier — a random ID stored in your browser to link your quiz responses. This is not linked to your identity unless you submit an email.
3. How we use it
- Send you program deadline reminders and relevant updates (email only)
- Improve program recommendations and the quiz experience
- Understand which programs are most useful to our users
We do not sell your data to third parties, send unsolicited marketing, or share your email with program providers without your consent.
4. Data storage
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (US region). We retain email addresses for as long as your account is active or until you request deletion.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing mikimak0821@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to remember your saved programs and comparisons between sessions. No tracking cookies are set.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date.
